10 Points left over. I'm a newb, so I thought that I would have an easier time using an army like this, then one with a bunch of mixed units.

| From what I can see there is a few errors here and there regarding Splinter cannons, you can only have one per 10 Kabalites so the 10 man squads can only have one and the 9 man cant have any at all.
You've also gone a bit mad with vehicle upgrades, though of course thats up to you. Splinter racks are essential on the units youve placed them on but I feel flickers aren't needed now with the advent of jink; night shields are a preference I dont use myself.
Same with the Sybarites and Hekatrixes, I don't think you need them.
All those points saved could net you another Ravager.

| Thanks for the reply. Sorry if I seem to be over posting in this section with army lists, but I havent exactly bought any models yet and I'm still very new. I've played 3 games so far in 40k, I've won all of them, but with little understanding of why, mainly because of the massive amount of guidence from observers and demo trainers.
I've only noticed a few things with the demo Dark Eldar Army I've been using. The wyches survive longer then I expect and/or make it further then I expect, the HQ never moves or gets used, maybe I'm just scared of using them and failing and Reavers are crazy fun. The demo Dark Eldar army I've been using is a mish mash of different units, theres nothing tactically specific about the army, it does allow me to test out units though.
I was also very confused with all the different special rules with each unit. It was extremely hard for me to remember everything. I seemed to keep forgeting about my combat drugs, pain tokens, and my warlord trait, i was way to distracted with strategy that trying to comprehend the use of special rules with movement placement that I was just playing like a tryanid player..move it all forward and attack no matter what.
That all said. After the last game I played the store owner and a few dark eldar diehards gave me some advice and told me to try out a Duke army, they also said that a Dark Eldar army isnt a very good introductory army for new 40k players, I don't care though, cause out of all the armies in the game Dark Eldar have a super dark and sinister history, which I like. So this weekend the owner is going to let me join a tourny using a Duke army that he's going to put together for me.
The list I posted is not the one the owner is building, but one that I may potential build. | |

| HQ-DUKE 150PTS TROOPS-X9 KABALITE WARRIORS W/ RAIDER W/ TORMENT LAUNCHERS, NS, SR, ENHANCED SAILS (HQ RIDE) 181PTS TROOPS-X10 WYCHES W/ HWG, HEK, PGL, RAIDER W/ NS 210PTS TROOPS-X10 WYCHES W/ HWG, HEK, PGL, RADIER W/ NS 210PTS TROOPS-X10 KABAL WARRIORS W/ SC, RAIDER W/ NS, SR, SHOCK PROW 185PTS TROOPS-X10 KABAL WARRIORS W/ SC, RAIDER W/ NS, SR, SHOCK PROW 185PTS FAST ATTACK-X6 REAVERS W/ CHAMPION 142PTS FAST ATTACK-X6 REAVERS W/ CHAMPION 142PTS HEAVY SUPPORT-RAVAGER W/ NS 115PTS HEAVY SUPPORT-RAVAGER W/ NS 115PTS HEAVY SUPPORT-RAVAGER W/ NS 115PTS
I believe that adds up to 1750 exactly. I got rid of the sybarites in the 2 squads, but kept the 2 hek's for my wyches. I was told by some guys that leadership is something overlooked a lot, so i figured it would best suit the wyches since I expose them more then the kabalites. With the remaning 130pts, I got 1 more ravager, and spent the remaining 15pts on small upgrades for the 3 kabalite raiders, one shock prow on the two normal kabalite raiders, and enhanced sails on the HQs raider. I was having a hard time choosing between grisly trophies, shock prow and enhanced sails for that so I just picked the sails.

| It might be an idea with the Wych units to take a Haemonculus with a liquifier gun. The Hekatrix's I can see why you have them, but 1+ to Ld isnt as useful as getting a pain token from the start with the presence of a Haemonc I feel. Maybe drop the shock prows or at least put them on the Raiders with the Wyches in so when your wyches have disembarked to bust some tanks you can then tank shock some troops or tanks or just go for the ole' liquifier treatment to pump up take some more enemy names. My friend and I have both experimented with Haemonc's and especially in the new 6th edition rules we have found that Feel No Pain helps against Overwatch...
The enhanced sails and torment launchers I dont really see the point of as the only decent upgrades for vehicles in DE are night shields and the now less useful flickerfields.
Im liking the use of Reavers, nice to see some variety for a change!!
Perhaps if you drop the champions from the Reavers you can pimp up the Kabalites with blasters... (strength 8 AP 2 lances i hear you say?? Hell da fuq ya!)
3 Ravagers, a staple. Other than that some Voidraven's to even up sky fire, but hey hitting on 6's isn't always that hard with 9 dark lances...
Just a few things for you to think on maybe, but on the whole not a bad list i'd say. An improvement on the first list you put forward!
