Mission was the Scouring with a Dawn of War deployment.
Warlord Traits: He got Night attacker (he chose not to use it ) and i got Master of Ambush so both traits were useless
MAP:
He won initiative and deployed into a neat corner gunline with a Kroot line in cover inside a forest that turned out to be Ironbark... The objectives also revealed that the 3 point and the 4 point ones were inside his deployment zone.
Turn 1 - TAU
Turn one he did not see any of my units all was reserved or into very good cover so outside of him claiming the center objective (that ended up booby trapped and killed one of his pathfinders its was pretty uneventful.
Turn 1 - DE
For my part i got a venom into position to disembark a haemie so he could drop his portal right into his gunline, the wracks went their own way into the center canyon to engage the pathfinders. The second venom with haemie sent his wracks into the canyon as well but kept the haemie on board to go deploy the second portal on the other side of the table. Raider went flat out into the far corner of the table towards an objective with good cover. My large 10 Wrack unit marched into a ruin claiming one objective. One of my small wracks squad in the center managed to reach the Pathfinders in assault and killed all but one of them, took 0 losses.

Turn 2 TAU
Reserve - None
Most of his firepower went into the haemie that deployed the portal taking him out and glancing the Venom next to him. A piranha dropped its drones in the center canyon and killed the 2 of the 4 wracks in the other squad. The rest of his turn was spent moving 2 piranha towards my 2nd Venom with haemie+portal and getting his Crisis suits into a good cover/firing position. Assault continued with me killing his last Pathfinder

Reserve - Razorwing, Beasts
I sadly did not get any talos, wracks or jetbikes but i at least got the beast pack out of the portal next to his gunline. The razorwing starting on a table edge and moved towards his suit and tank blob. The wracks in the center decided to draw back and leave the center canyon objective alone (booby trapped anyway) until later. The 2 surviving Wracks reboarded the damaged Venom and headed towards my deployment zone objective. The Venom with the portal haemi dropped the Haemi and i deployed my 2nd portal giving me very good table coverage. The warriors in the raider disembarked and filled the ruined building with the objective in one of the far corner. The beasts moved towards his Kroot defensive line stopping right in their face (i really miss assaulting out of portals). The razorwing Shatterfield missiles killed all drones and wounded some in the Crisis unit (LoS rolls) and scored 2 hull dmg on the pulse hammerhead.

Reserve - Crisis Battlesuits, Firewarriors+Devilfish x 2
He deployed both devilfish into my deployment zone behind another forest to claim/contest the objective from the venom with the 2 wracks i was headed to. The Crisis unit tried to deep strike right next to my warriors but ended up on the warriors so Mishap - Displaced, i re-positioned them way behind his other Crisis blob at the other end of the table. His Kroot units shot at the beasts killing all Kymeras and wounding 1 bird, the Hammerheads large blast went a little off target and killed all 3 beastmasters in the back. His forward crisis unit threw everything it had at the razorwing jet managing to destroy 1 DL but otherwise not much damage. His devilfish tried to bring down the venom behind cover without success. His piranha managed to explode the other Venom but the explosion failed to wound my Warlord haemie. To prevent me from getting attacks on the charge his 2 Kroot units charged the 4 razorwing flocks left - i killed an entire Kroot unit before he attacked and lost a total of 4 wounds on 3 of the birds.

Reserve - Large Wrack unit with the Haemi
Still no Talos or bikes :/, i moved the new Wracks+haemi unit out of the portal right next to the beast to put those 3 liquifiers to work. My venom disembarked its 2 wracks into forest cover to contest my deployment objective from the devilfish+fire warriors. The venom shot at the flamer Crisis unit headed towards the beasts/wrack+haemie, suprisingly i killed 1 suits and 2 drones. The razorwing turned towards the other end of the table, blew up 4 drones and a Piranha. The 3 liquifiers from the wrack unit+haemi killed a crisis suit from his Warlord unit and wouded one of the others (yay for ap 1). Assault ended up with me winning but failing to sweep so locked again, i also lost 2 birds out of the 4 but he was left with 2 hounds only.

Reserve - nothing left in reserve
Not much movement on his part, one of the devilfish left my deployment zone to go take care of the warriors camping an objective, the other disembarqued his warriors into the other objective with my 2 Wracks. Shooting phase, his warriors blew up the empty raider i had positioned for cover, his hammerhead managed a large blast into my 10 man wrack unit on the far objective killing more than half of them, i managed morale. The rest of his units fired everything they had in the other large wrack+haemie unit that was in flamer/liquifier range, i lost 7 of them but the haemie and an acothyst survived and managed morale. His fire warriors squad killed the 2 wracks contesting the objective. He chose not to assault the remaining haemie and acotyst with his Crisis unit in fear of the Flesh gauntlet and 2 flamers. The 2 remaining birds failed to finish off his Kroot hounds in the assault phase.
Turn 4 DE
Reserve - failed on both Talos and bikes
At this point i was sure i had lost, he still had both hammerheads, 3 crisis suits in the warlord unit and 2 in another, 2 piranha, 2 devilfish and both fire warrior squads and i only had 1 warrior squad, 2x 4 man wrack squad in cover, a haemie + acotyst in the middle of his blob with a lone venom for fire support and a missileless razorwing that could not fire on anything important that turn.
My movement phase was super short, i moved the haemie and acotyst into position for the shattershard but his warlord unit was out of range so i had to settle for the 2 crisis suits in the other unit, killing them both in the shooting phase. The razorwing jet along with the 10 man warrior squad killed his fire warrior unit that wanted to contest the ruined building objective. My venom killed 2 of the 12 warriors on the other objective and i moved my center 4 man wrack unit back towards the center objective to claim it. Assault; my haemi failed to reach assault on his warlord unit and the birds finally finished off the Kroot hounds.

He moved his devilfish towards my lone haemie Warlord that was trying to reach the wracks in the center canyon, his Crisis warlord unit moved further away from my haemie just to be safe. He moved a Piranha to contest/claim the objective i had wracks sitting in. In shooting one of his tank and the crisis unit killed both of the birds left and the Acotyst (was gona be the haemie but i LoS). His remaining warriors killed my last Venom. The devilfish killed my Warlord haemie in the center and his Hammerhead smart missiles the wracks in the center killing 2 of the 4 (i went to ground). The Piranha killed 1 Wrack in cover, the remaining 3 kept morale and stayed on the objective. No assault.
Turn 5 DE
Reserve - Talos, Talos, 9x Reavers
Finally got some reinforcements; i popped both Talos out of the closer WWP, 1 talos headed strait for his warlord unit, the other for the 2 hammerheads. The jetbikes failed to deep strike, Mishap and got delayed....
In shooting one Talos killed a crisis suit with the TL Liquifiers but failed to kill the HQ due to LoS rolls. The other talos finished out the already damaged hammerhead. The rest of my units couldn't do anything or were in ground. The Razorwing jet killed 3 warriors from his squad in cover but failed to do anything else. No Assault

He moved the railgun hammerhead furter away from the Talos (not far enough XD) and shot at the center canyon Wracks finishing them off he then claimed it with a Piranha. His crisis suit unit shot at the other Talos causing 2 wounds but failing to finish it off. His remaining Piranha failed to kill any wracks in my other objective. No Assault
Turn 6 DE
Reserves - 9x Reaver Jetbikes
I played it safe and DS the jetbikes in a nice open area. I moved one talos towards his hammerhead while the other one chased after his crisis suits. Jetbikes moved in for the crisis suits kill and wiped every single one of them by turbo boosting over them (got 16 cluster caltrops hits). The razorwing tried to kill the Devilfish contesting the ruins objective from my warriors but failed. The Talos chasing the hammerhead wrecked it in assault.

His devilfish tried to kill my warriors again, it killed 3 but i held the objective, his piranha tried taking out the non wounded talos but failed to do anything and his last piranha cleared the far back objective of the remaining 2 Wracks claiming it.

I moved the closest talos to the center canyon to engage his piranha and moved the jetbikes in a wide line to cover and claim the 2 objectives in his deployment zone (worth 4 and 3 points respectively). Killed his Piranha in assault with the talos and the razorwing jet left the table failing to do anything.

M.V.P = That beast unit probably won me the game - While the technically only killed about the same amount of points they costed me they did take a lot of fire away from other units.
Runner up - Wracks, one would think that Wracks that cannot assault are useless but vs Tau having a T of 4 witn FnP is great, they took way more punishment than i could have ever hoped for.
Tip for next game... equip Warriors with haywire grenades....
