URL Links have poor visibility!

I find that the colour of links is too similar to the normal white text colour, making them hard to see (as a result I always change the colour of my links). Often I completely miss links, especially if they are in text.

Can you find the link in this sentence?

I agree. In order for my links to be visible, I always underline or bold them.

The issue with links is that everything, including the main forum names, categories etc are links, colouring them in would detract from the forum aesthetics in my view.

I thought that's why they hadn't been changed. Hmmm... O well.

How about making them bold, then?

I think having links underlined would be good. I, personally, don't have any trouble seeing the difference in colours but my eyes are weird. I can see how underlining them could help, though.

The biggest factor is your screen, I can see them better on my desktop then on my laptop.

I put it down to being colour blind and seeing things differently, but that could help.

you can also underline them myself. Infact if you look at my Sig, thats what I did to the Links there

Yeah I make mine cyan so people can see them. It's more other peoples links I miss.

Yes, as are the Barter-port and Realspace Lounge.

I believe you can change the link colors that appear inside messages and posts. Just add the relevant css that looks its way down to the posts links?

Like:

.postbody a
{
font-color: black;
}

I believe all links inside posts have the special class "postlink". So you should just need to modify that class to have a color of your choice, without messing up other links.

This has already been fixed, as post urls appear in TDC green. Thanks for the code though.

Ah, I just realized this topic is kinda old. That's what happens when I don't frequent TDC for a week...
