Sorry if this is a dumb question... (I'm still a noob)...
If you have a model that has multiple attacks on its profile (like a Trueborn with 2 attacks) and that model is shooting a weapon with multiple attacks on its profile (like a Shardcarbine with Assault 3), does that mean you get to shoot 2 x 3 for 6 shots?
Or is it just the weapon's profile Assault 3 for 3 shots?

It just goes off of the number in the profile, unless it's Heavy and you moved.

"The profile" could describe the model's profile or the weapon's profile.
Could you elaborate?

Weapon profile, not the character profile. The number next to the weapon type, unless this has changed between editins, which I don't think it has.

Shooting attacks use the number of shots on the weapon profile. Only melee attacks use the Attacks characteristic on the models profile.
