Crucible of Malediction and Runes of Warding

Was looking at this idea;

Haemie w/ Crucible of Malediction in a Venom (leave the 3 Wracks back in DZ)
Farseer w/ Runes of Warding

Basic idea is on T1 Turbo boost up the table as far as we can go and activate the Crucible. (30" or if you wanted to get funky you could take a Raider with Aethersails and even TGL for the possible -1 Ld)

Now, the rule says to do so during the shooting phase.... good thing is is THIS ISN'T A SHOOTING ATTACK! YAY!!


How many Psykers would we potentially face in a game, could our suicude Haemie make our pts back???

Runes of Warding makes enemies roll 3D6 for psychic tests, but the Crucible is just a norma ld test, so it's still on 2D6.

So no go then...

Makes me miss all the LD blast weapons from the last codex...
