Preparing for a local tourney 1500pts

1500 Pts - Kabal of the Bloodied Tear

This is my proposed list, it lists down my army that I will be using in preparation for a coming tourney in 2 months time. Its not set in stone yet so some constructive critique would be great.

if you could squeeze out 30 pts somehow, the ravs are going to kiss your feet for nightshields ^^

all in all, it looks good, but i miss the haems for turn1 fnp for incu and wyches, but they would be to much for the 1.5k tops

I really think that 2 troops aren't enough, concidering most misisons are objective based and vehicles can no longer contest. Maybe drop the Splinter Trueborn and Incubi to field two more scoring units - Wyches and Warriors

if you want scoring unites, get a haem and wracks.
or go msu.
i used 1 archon 3 haems 1 squad of incu, 2 wyches, 1 warrior and 2 razorwings in my 1.5k list and it worked ^^

I have made some changes to the list after a game last night, the beast masters were good but I felt I lacked troops like what you said. So I added another squad of warriors, Another change I did is to spread my Disintegrator Cannons to all the raiders instead of keeping all my disi on one ravager, and leaving the dark lances on both ravagers and bringing in a Razorwing fighter to do some dog fighting and light AT hunting. With so many fliers I felt I should bring in mine to keep the air clear.

There is too many 2+ around now days and I felt the Disintegrators on the raiders would compliment more for anti MEQ duty, There is a number of blasters too for close AT support.

What army did u play up against? What did he bring?

Sanguinary army with dante at its lead and two storm ravens...

I Loss by objective... In my game group there is 6 marines, 2 CSM, 1 tyranid, 1 tau, 2 eldar, 2 orks, 2 crons, 1 IG, 2 grey knights, and 2 DE...

so I tend to meet MEQ more than half the time

Yeah I like fighting MEQ armies. I have a little trouble with Tau some days.....but don't mind a challange every now and then

if you want dogfights, go with the VRB w flickerfield flat. s9 ap2 lance is better for the AA purpose But if you want to be able to multi task it, rwjf w ff no missile ups.

I will prob get the void raven once gw makes the model or when I find the time I convert one. Atm kinda shuffling painting duties between my DE and my CSM/DA fallen army

My progress Wych squad done ~ except the eyes bit i hate doing eyes as i tend to screw up so going to wait a little and do the rest of my army first.
