probably a dumb question, but does the duke's poison upgrade work on shardcarbines, or just splinter rifles and cannons?

yes it works on carbines as well as the rifles, cannons, and pistols

Note however that splinter racks on Raiders do not work on carbines or cannons. Otherwise I'd be fielding 10 Trueborn with carbines in a raider with racks for 30 shots, rerolling misses and wounding on 3+

alright, thanks. i was unsure because of the rule saying splinter weapons, yet shard carbines dont have splinter in the name, though they are in the splinter weapons box in the wargear section.

about the splinter racks, i knew they didnt work. if it worked like that, im sure most people would be using a load out like that. i know i would

@hivey: You spotted it yourself apparantly. Indeed the splinter weapon box in the wargear section tells us shard carbines are in.
