How do you achieve a 2+ save in ruins? In my book ruins are 4+. The only way to get a 2+ would be shrouded, which is not available to Reavers, or did I miss something obvious?

| Ruins are 4+ and moving flat out gives you an additional 2 from Jink (or 3 if you have Skilled Rider). So, 2+ cover in ruins if you got there via a flat out move, and for the Reavers it's even a 2+ in area terrain. | |

| But Jink doesn't give an additional +2. Jink is a flat cover save. 5+ if moved and 4+ if Turbo-boosted or moved Flat Out. Cover saves don't add up, you get a 3+ for Turbo-boosting and Skilled Rider and a 4+ for being in ruins, but having two cover saves grants no bonus, since you can only ever use the best one.
The only way to improve area cover saves are the Stealth and Shrouded special rules. And while Skilled Rider improves your cover save by one, it only works on Jink saves.

I believe so, assumign that the attacks dont ignore armor or the shooting doesnt ignore cover.

| I ran in to this problem a few days ago when I played a game. I am the only DE player and 2 people said i could move in a curve, I thought they were incorrect and that it is a straight line only. I have read the codex and rule book faq's and I dont see any updates on this. Anyone else have any new updates to the validity of this or is this still arguable?
The April FAQ does state,
"Q: When allocating Wounds caused by a unit of Reaver Jetbikes making a bladevanes, cluster caltrops and / or grav-talon attack, from which direction is the attack considered to have originated? (p29) A: Use the final position of the Reaver Jetbikes for Wound allocation."
But I dont know if that would give any additional information or not.

But I dont know if that would give any additional information or not. It's not arguable. You start at point A and end at point B. Draw a straight line between those two points and pick a unit the line goes through for the bladevane attacks. All that matters is the starting and ending position of the reavers. You can absolutely move in a curve or go around corners, but this has zero impact on how bladevane attacks are performed.
