Newbee tactical question w/ trueborn tems with dark lances

I love the idea of 3 man teams of trueborn on foot with 2 dark lances, hiding in ruins in my deployment zone. Has anyone tried this? If so, any luck?

It's one of the "standard" load outs for trueborn, yes. Just be careful about exposing them to enemy fire. Even if they have cover it's still just 3 guys with low toughness/armor. They can be cut down easily if you let them.

Also, since you're buying them anyway, you could/should also buy them the venom. Even if you have them sit in your deployment zone the venom can still fly off on its own and shoot stuff up.

Thanks! I didn't know it was a "standard load-out", but it makes sense. As for venoms, they're my "next to buy" item, probably 2, though 1 is on "Christmas wish list"...lol.

I've used this to great effect, though another favorite is to take 4 trueborn with blasters in a venom. You've got yourself a highly mobile firing platform to take out enemy tanks; though as with all of our vehicles it's very fragile, so cover is your ally.
