1750 Archon Beasts

Hi everyone,

So I recently made this list as something fun and different to play to my usual stuff. Having looked at it again, I think this could actually be quite a viable competitive list.

So, my fellow archons, peers and depraved souls, I would like your opinions and suggestions to help make this better. If you like the list, please feel free to use it in your own conquests.

Here it is:

2x splinter cannons, night shields

- 10 x Warriors
blaster, sybarite, splinter pistol, venom blade

- 5 x Wyches
hydra gauntlets, haywire grenades, hekatrix, agoniser

And there you have it.

You will notice I don't have flickerfields on any of my skimmers, as I'm relying more on the movement of the craft and saving those points for other uses.

So please, tell me what you think.

Hmmm... Quite a bit of fat in this list IMO.

The klaivex does not need onslaught with so few incubi, it's just not worth it. Likewise the sybarites should bs left with the rifle as you don't want to be in combat. The hydra gauntlets can also go as 5 wyches are for suicide runs at tanks. You can loose the hekatrix and agoniser as well.

I would also drop at least 2 (preferably all) of the missiles on the bomber.

You can then go back and add nightshields to the vehicles, splintercannons to the warriors, more beasts or incubi... Lots of options!

Thanks for the input, really appreciate it. You have some good points there, I'll try 'slim down' my over-weight cabal.
I do have night shields on all my vehicles already (don't leave home without it) and I'll drop a lot of the extra options.
One thing I will disagree on is the missiles for the bomber, they have helped me tremendously with any DE list against most armies.

why though??? If you want missles, just run the razorwing, as the missles come base, and you still get two dark lances (yah they arent S9, but you save alot of points that way) Also mixing missles (which are AI based) with AT (the void lances) makes you have to choose with your void raven what to shoot at, also this mixed role means every turn your using it in one role and not the other, you are wasting the points you spent for them.
