| Awesome models. Interesting rules...
Worth the points? I am pondering whether it would be worth using them as an elite choice in my Corsair army. They dont have amazing stats, but they are jet packs, so I would imagine they can be very survivable. Use some large cover, pop out a model just enough to Ghost light a vehicle...then pop back out of sight...

| I don't really see anything speaking against them except for their point cost. Amazing models with amazing rules. Definitely going to field them as soon as I start working on my allied forces. | |

| They're good models, but are rather expensive (both poitn and moeny wise), and and you always want full units. The probelm is thay they're not all that durable (pretty tough for Eldar, but that's still t3, even with invulnerable saves) and if you lsoe even one, the combined shot looses a lot of its power. | |

| I was juuuuust going to start a thread on this and PHAM! you had already done this.
If you want to run them as 6 people it starts at 210 and then you need to add the excharh etc.
What I would suggest instead to take 4 of them and give the echarch the haywire gun. That would be around 180 ish? And you would have 3 haywire shots at bs 5. Quite neat! And when you are fighting people on foot you can use the S5 AP2 or S4 large blast. Not very good but OK for it's price. I have not compared the price to the flying birdies though. (Poison and haywire blasters)

| I used to run a squad a while ago, there brilliant, have really nice models and kick ass
But the big downside is once they get shot at and lose a couple of guys their firepower really takes a hit, if your playing people multiple times and they realize this, then the poor guys get mauled pretty early on.
They can also be rather expensive in regards to points and cash.

| atleast they have an invul, and the jet pack move and hide them in LOS blocking cover for quite some time | |

| I think that they are interesting, have beautiful models, and are overpriced for what they do. I prefer to take a couple Hornets for the roughly the same cost. Better mobility and more firepower for about the same price. 6 with exarch for 230ish points? Or 2 Fire Prisms? I'm mixed on this unit. | |
