1000 pts tournament

This is going to be my 1st tournament in YEARS. I've avoided the tournament scene for obvious reasons. But now... I'm actually hosting one myself with my local gaming club. And... Basically... I want to crush face! I don't have any 'Coven' model because I'm reserving 2014 as my special 'Coven' year to built up a nice little coven. I do have enough Venoms, Raiders, Ravagers, Warriors and Wyches...

There are 3 rounds:
1) A round where Heavy Support is also scoring;
2) A round where Fast Attack is also scoring;
3) Annihilation;

The list I was thinking of is:

HQ - 1 Archon w/ blaster, shadowfield, agoniser @ 125 pts
TR - 10 Kabalite Warriors w/ blaster @ 105 pts
Tra - 1 Raider (Dark Lance) @ 60 pts
TR - 5 Wyches w/ Haywire grenades, Hekatrix w/ agoniser @ 90pts
Tra - 1 Raider (Dark Lance) @ 60 pts
TR - 5 Kabalite Warriors w/ blaster @ 60pts
Tra - 1 Venom w/ 2xSplinter Cannon @ 65 pts
TR - 5 Wyches w/ Haywire grenades @ 60pts
Tra - 1 Venom w/ 2xSplinter Cannon @ 65 pts
HS - 1 Ravager (w/ 3x DL) @ 105 pts
HS - 1 Ravager (w/ 3x DL) @ 105 pts

Total 990 pts

The idea is basically to have my AI/AT in check. I want to present loads of dangerous targets so it's hard to prioritise. I think I have enough stuff to claim. I fear for annihilation though... MSU means weaker units. The Archons goes in the Raider with the Wyches by the way.

At this point I'm thinking about dropping the 5 wyches in the Venom and downsize the 10 man warriors to 5. See if I can get a Reaver Jetbike squad in there with Heatlances for a very annoying unit they'll have to deal with. Which will be scoring in 1 round aswell. What do you guys think?

And ofcourse I'm interested in your thoughts about the list in general...

Looks good in principle. However: where does your Archon go?

With the 5 Wyches in the Raider.

Oops, I overread the Raider and thought they were in a venom since the squad only numbers 5 girls. Then your archon would have had nowhere to go. In that case your list looks good. Maxed heavies at 1k is definitely nothing to sniff at. You should be able to kill most of their mech, which gives you an additional edge in mobility which then should lead to your victory

Agonizer is generally a cheap all around choice. If you have the time you might want to switch him to Huskblade and Soultrap for AP2 glory. With your 10 points spare you're hitting exactly 1k with this setup. (Archon, Shadowfield, Huskblade, Soultrap ... blaster is a waste in a CC unit in my opinion)

I used to not believe in duality with DE. But I changed my mind. It's absolutely annoying if you have nothing to scratch a tank with and the rest failed to blow the tank up. So even in my dedicated CC unit I want something to be able to blast the tank.

As for the huskblade, I'm actually trying to find ways to knock points off for nightshields and/or flickerfields...
