1750 vs chaos

their wont be a turn by turn battle chronicler report as i am getting bored of playin against nurgle CSM sry.
so in brief.
DE first turn
night fight
vangard strike.

he set up 4X10 nurgle marines with typhus, las pred and deflier right across his line,heldrake in reserve i set up to my left flank and stayed out of range of the pred and just wiped his troops as they tried to cross the battle field, not an exciting game but nurgle just does not seem to be a challenge for us.

i did loose a venom and a raider and the warriors who broke and ran off the table after their raider exploded, typhus was the only survivor took 5 turns as 3+armour and FNP was just painfully slow to kill.

It's a different story against plague-zombie spam though. Big blobs of 30 fearless shambling freaks behind an aegis is a nightmare. I play against a list like this and it's tricky to kill them all. Also, looks like you got first turn and night fight. That's always a dream start for DE isn't it!?!? Just wondering what points you were doing, and what kind of list you took? I've got the Nurgle on Monday night.

8 wychs HEK,PW lance, HWG raider
5 warriors in venom X2
ADL with ILC

2 ravagers 1 ravager was dissie

he only had the drake a pred and the defiler for me to take out while he foot slogged right into the TB who duke started with giving them 3 to hit and 3 poison, cos of set up the pred was out of range most of the game the defiler got a raider then died, took 4 turns with its 4 HP deamon save and it will not die with poor rolling from me and great saves for him. dont fear nurgle they are points heavy against us cos they pay for extra T which means nothing just shoot em, as for zombies behind a wall play the scenario, if it needs to be removed their are ways round it
