| Hi guys, I'm new to DE and I still don't know very well theire weapons, so I have a little stupid question. Venom blades have to be "blades", like sword or lance, or can even be something like a whip? Thank you much! | |

| One of the many beauties of Dark Eldar weaponry is that they can take the shape of whatever weapon you want. A lance, an axe, a sword, a whip, a dagger, a knife, a needle - heck, even bare hands could represent a Venom Blade! Your imagination is the limit. Go nuts! | |

| Just make sure you tell your opponent which weapon represents what. | |

| And be consistent! Nothing will irritate people more if they find out that this whip is an agoniser but that whip is a venom blade and that one is just a close combat weapon. | |

| I use the power swords (and the scourge venom blade) for all my venom blades, they're painted differently so I don't mess them up with regular power weapons. You could even vary the shape of the weapon and have it identified by paint scheme alone. say green venom blades, blue power weapons just as an example. But be sure to be consistent with either of these approaches. | |
