1850pt Dark Eldar Competitive List

(x3) Ravager w/nightshields = 345pts

(x3) Kabal Warriors x10 w/x1 SC and x1 blaster, all mounted in Raider w/splinter racks = 185pts

Lady Malys = 130pts
w/ x8 Incubi and Klaivex w/demiklaives = 211pts
both Malys/Incubi mounted in Raider = 60pts

(x2) Trueborn x5 w/x4 blasters mounted in Venom w/extra SC and nightshields = 195pts

Reavers x6 w/x2 HL = 156pts

TOTAL = 1847PTS

The idea is for a tourney list that should be able to handle a wide variety of opponents and mission types. I have played a match vs Tau just yesterday and the only thing that really made me have a hard time was that he got lucky on his warlord traits roll and got the strategic trait "Conqueror of Cities" so coupled with his Distortion pods he had a 2+ jink save in ruins with his vehicles and they all ignored dangerous terrain tests but alas, I did well and won anyway! I have played Space Wolves for years and while I do love them, I've always told myself if I didn't play SW it would be Dark Eldar, so I finally just went ahead and now do both. All input is welcome and appreciated! I would love to tweak this list if necessary to make it a truly sound list and hopefully will be able to get some tourney action with it soon!

my only complaint is you have too many points in your incubi squad, and really need more than 3 troops, even if they are 10 man squads. I would drop the incubi down to 5, drop all the nightshields (its either all vehicles have it, or none) and the extra bodies on the trueborn squad (extra bodies are useless, and actually cause more harm due to the explosion result on the vehicle) and use those points for a 5 man warrior squad w/ blaster in venom. 125pts is easy to get to

Incubi x4 --> Archon w/ P.G.L, Huskblade, Soultrap, Shadowfield all in Venom w/S.C. = 313pts

TOTAL = 1850PTS

I figured on trying to keep the NS on the Ravagers as I've had success with them keeping the gunboats alive pretty well by denying my opponent the ability to shoot.

AS Shadows Revenge said Ravagers don't need night shields. I'dd still tried to get still one more troop in the list. Get the points from night shields, splinter cannons on Kabalites (splinter racks don't effect them), Hekatrix (haywire Wyches are already threat enough) and 4th trueborns. Should be enough for 5 kabalites or wyches in a venom.

Ok so I've changed the list to reflect your suggestions and I just have a question. Should I split the 6 man unit of Reavers into two separate 3 man units to help the HL survive longer? I had 19pts left over and couldn't give both Wych Venoms the SC upgrade so opted for Archon wargear. I want to say thanks for the input so far it is greatly appreciated!!
