Huskblade

OK so a quick question that I feel dumb asking but...when using a Husk-blade...it says in the codex that it is a power weapon that causes instant death to any model that suffers an unsaved wound. I can't find anything in the errata/FAQ regarding its AP. Someone told me it was AP 2 but seeing as how I can't find a definitive answer, does it only count as AP 3? Or is it actually AP 2? I had the hardest time recently in CC against a tech-marine because Archon S3 needs 5+ to wound in CC and a tech-marine comes stock with artificer armor which is a 2+ save. Just wondering if I screwed up magnificently or not!

I actually had to look twice for it even though I knew it was there. I was looking for a weapon profile rather than a sentence.
