My scheme

Hi! i just started collecting dark eldar and i just painted up my first model!

I'm looking for advice on what colours to paint all the other parts of the model. for example the gun, cloth, boots, dagger.
I'm trying to make a snowy scheme.
Also let me know if i should try painting the armour a darker or lighter colour or change it completely, but ideally staying wintery themed.

Also just general painting advice.

If you are painting the legs white to look like snow. don't paint them like the rest of the model, then add through dry brushing or dabbing white on top of it. If your going for white cloth that is different, one that will be hard to partner color wise IMO. But the best thing you can do is take a piece of paper and paint blocks, big blocks with your main color and smaller blocks size depending on how much you will use the color to see if it works, then paint a test model. Personally, I use metallic for all my weapons except for some special ones. I use what was scorpion green for anything poison.

Ok i'll try some test blocks and metallics on the weapons sounds good.
Cloth is white from undercoat, haven't decided on what to do for it yet, maybe a darker version if the colour on the armour.
I might try some other schemes too, been looking around The forum and there's some awesome schemes I want to try
