OK, forget the Voidraven for this month.

Again.

And the High Elves.

The Interweb is rife with rumours that CWE are the next 40K army. Well, it was, ..... until the rumour sites got taken out by orbital bombardment.

But anyway, this would be an opportune time to work on your Craftworld cousins, or our mutual Corsair kin, so that your allied detachments are fully prepped for when the next codex hits the pavement.

So, sign yourselves up, make a vow about what you are going to build/paint/convert during the month of May, and then show us your progress with a picture (unlike the real Commorragh, we do operate on the honour system, but pics are such great motivators).

Denizens and their vows for the month of May (completed in purple):

Gobsmakked - convert and paint 2 new Reapers, Vect, and his Dais.

Count Adhemar - 5 Wracks and hopefully a Talos or Cronos.

Evil Space Elves - complete 1 Talos, convert and paint 2 Grotesques, assemble and paint 1 Epic Imperial Guard infantry company, and possibly start 1Coven Ravager conversion.

Creeping Dementia - 10 Bloodbrides, 3 Reavers, 1 Duchess (Sliscus) model, and possibly 10 Wyches.

Skyboard Surfer - paint 1 Shadowseer and Death Jester, build and paint 1 Ravager.

Cavash - 4 Trueborn, 1Talos, and possibly 10 Scourges and a Night Lords squad.

Skizzik_NZ - assemble and paint 1 new Raider and Venom, paint 1 Ravager and start on Wyches or Hellions.

Power Hungry Monkey - convert and maybe paint half a unit of Evil Wraithguard, and perhaps some Warp Spiders.

Tyrant Lord 73 - paint up at least 3 Reavers, finish a Reaver conversion, and finish off 2 Ravagers.

Azdrubael - paint 1 unit of Striking Scorpions.

Well, I am good for CWE at the moment, so this month, looking forwards to a distant tournament, I am going to convert 2 more Reapers, start and finish my long-delayed Vect model, and also build his Dais. I should get them all painted, too.

Working on my Coven units this month. Five Wracks to start with and hopefully a Talos or Cronos. Also painting up a couple of test models for my Tau allied force.

Heavy work month( I teach-graduation, special events, end of the school year shenanigans), and given my abysmal completion rate of the past three Monthly Vows Mad

I'd like to keep it realistic:

-Complete Talos from April's monthly vow Evil or Very Mad

-convert and paint two Grotesques
-assemble and paint an Epic Imperial Guard infantry company(don't get excited-it's only Epic scale Razz

)

If there is time:
-Start Coven Ravager conversion Twisted Evil

Alright, I'll try a vow for May

I'll finish...
my unit of Bloodbrides (10)
3 Reavers
a Duchess (Sliscus) model
and a stretch goal of 10 Wyches.

Of course with pics as they cross the finish line.

Having miraculously hit my April target for May I will aim for:

Finish painting the Shadowseer and Death Jester for my Harlequins.

Build and paint my first Ravager - thinking of a mad pirate aesthetic after a daft backstory came to me during a boring meeting at work.

I'm aiming low and vowing to complete four trueborn for my Kill Team.

If I start to fee industrious I'll try to finish my scourge squad, or even work on a squad of my Night Lords a bit more, but that doesn't seem very likely at the moment. Oh... I also have that talos still to finish. Hmm, I might try to finish my Talos if I finish my Trueborn early, too.

Assemble and paint my new raider and venom, paint a ravager and make a start on wyches or hellions.

I'm in.

Depending on when the bitz get here, I vow to convert half a unit of Evil Wraithguard. Paint may also be included... and some Spiders... maybe

2/3's of the way through that IG infantry company. Here are a couple of the commissar stands:

Hopefully I'm not too late but I'd like to paint up at least 3 Reavers, finish my reaver conversion and finish off my 2 Ravagers.

I thought I was done with that Epic IG company....until I remembered that I hadn't assembled/painted the company command stand Evil or Very Mad

I slapped together a couple of Thunderbolts for the heck of it. Hopefully that won't distract me from my Dark Eldar part of the vow this month...

I'm afraid I'm going to have to already bail on my vow Sad

I've decided to take my time with the Wraithguard and just work on the bodies until the new Eldar stuff comes out (apparently June 8th according to the rumour-mill) and grab myself some plastic Wraithguard to use the cannons.

I also have already begun scratching out ideas for a sinister Wraithknight but I have to source a lot of bitz before that big baby can get under way

Don't blame you mate, there's a lot to consider with this upcoming Craftworld release.

Overall, there hasn't been much to 'purple' yet this month, I know I have had a really hard time making progress on my projects too Evil or Very Mad

I've finished the Wracks but took them over to a friend's house for a battle last week and forgot to bring them home with me to take pitcures! I'll get some pics next week and add them to this post.

This is where my next 2 Reaper conversions were at the end of the month, just the sails and and the fins on the weapons to finish before painting. Some more pics will be posted in my project log.
