| I was just wondering, what with the immanent release of the new eldar codex, if people thought harlies would get an update? Also if they do, do you think they'll FAQ the update into our dex? | |

| Someone might want to move this to news/rumors....but I doubt they'll update the harlies. They are nasty as it i. That being said I wouldnt be shocked if the Solitaire made a comeback. They are digging deep into the old fluff and Eldar players have really wanted him back for a long time. Now what would really get Eldar players bouncing off the walls would be if they brought back harlie jetbikes. veil of tears on a jetbike.... just think about it. | |

It's the shadowseer that gives that ability, they don't join harlequin jetbike squads, those are just composed of normal harlequins, maybe with a leader amongst them, but that's it. In the Old harlequin codex, the shadowseer was an HQ, he's a pretty rare individual, a harlequin troop shouldn't have too many of those. In Apocalypse you can run a huge number of those if you have a huge number of halrquin squads, but I would imagine most of the squads come from different harlequin troops travelling in the webway, who happened to gather for an exception event. I would realy like it the harlequin had a 4+ invuln safe honestly, back in the old days they had a 4+ cover save, is was pretty nice against the shooting. I know you've got the veil of tears, but get close enough and the 5+ invuln safe isn't much to save them, though you usually keep your harlequins in a structure to give them cover saves. This unit doesn't need an update it's quite good already like Cavalier says, I hate the save, but I admit, the unit is quite good.

| a troupe and a masque are two separate things. it could be that the "shadowseer" in the troupe squad is actually a warlock, and the "shadowseer" of the masque is the high warlock, or the HQ version in the old CJ codex for them.
I hope they get an update, but I highly doubt that they will. Now if they do that rumored ally codex...

| I heard rumours once from a redshirt that they might add the solitaire, but I wouldn't bet on it. | |

| Somehow I doubt we'd ever see a shadowseer on a jetbike, heck our archons can't even take them anymore. As far as I can remember the solitare was prett nasty, it'd be nice to see them get rules again. Also an allies codex for harlies would be cool. | |
