No warriors or Wyches

Hi members,
I recently acquired a bunch ( Grotesques and I was thinking of a non troop type army. Tell me what you think of this list. We usually do 1850 points

Haemoncuus (warlord) Scissorhands and Liquid gun
attached to
4 Grotesques (ones am Aberation) Liquid gun in a raider with Flickerfield

Haemonculus Liquid gun
attached to
4 Grotesques (ones and Aberation) Liquid gum in a raider with flickerfield

10 Wracks -2 liquid guns in a raider
10 Wracks - 2 liquid guns in a Raider
5 Wracks -1 liquid gun in Venom with Splinter cannon
5 Wracks -1 liquid gun in Venom with Splinter cannon (wracks are Troop choice)

2 Taloses no upgrades

4 Beast masters -15 Khymerae - 2 razorwing flocks
3 Beast masters - 10 Khymerae - 2 razorwing flocks.

I could drop one Beastmaster and 5 Khymerae to pick up 72 poitns and use that for Talos upgrades and 4 more wracks.

That's a cool collection you got there.

On 1st sight I'd expect you to struggle against mech armies a bit. How do you plan on taking on an all-tank army for instance?

As much as I do love grots, I think this list is lacking in both anti air and heavy anti tank.
You have no defense against flyers and little shooty power against something like a land raider. So this would mean you'd struggle against IG, Tau and Marines.

Also you're lacking in venom shots for high toughness MC, Beasts and hordes, so something like Tyranids would be a real struggle too.

Thanks for the replies and the welcome,

I have the Army Builder software and sometimes I just like the fantasy of playing around with different combos.

Like an army composed of 6 units of 20 warriors with 2 DLs each, 3 units of 10 Trueborn with 2 DLs and 8 shardcarbines and a Haem in a 2000 point army. That's 151 bodies, 18 DLs and a real lot of BS4 poison shots to anything that gets close.

Or an All-Drug army. Know what I mean?

Anyway, the 8 grots and 20 wracks are very well painted, far better than I can do, and I've been fooling around with different lists that put 8 of the table. That means 2 Haems and wracks becoming Troop choices.
This list keeps the regular guys Warriors, wyches, reavers, trueborn, bloodbrides, hellions and raider/rav crewmen out.
