Tengus Really Dirty Beastmasters

So, I decided to make up a Beastmaster pack, as cheap as possible.

I started with the Kymerae

There are numberless canine beasts that could do the job, I decided to use a box of the Vampire counts Direwolves, they are nightmarish enough.



There are ten of them so that's two packs of five.

These lot took me about an hour to make up. Not all the pieces interchange, though most do. With a bit of care you can have them all different.

They have separate ribs but if you miss out a few, it doesn't matter.

I made sure I cleaned off the mould lines and sprue stumps...Its surprising how many top modellers forget this; it shows.



And, Lo, I have bits...



Now all I need to do is fill them and base them.

did this for mine, suitably nasty looking and cheap plus fun to do.

Same here I making mines meaty looking with the skin looking rotten
With the darken blue wash for the fur and dry rushing it with purple so it got the same colors of my beastmasters

I got round to buying some Dire Wolves, and trying to attach Hormagaunt talons to one, but not got any further. I look forward to following your progress here...

you could do the same with chaos war hounds. they look pretty messed up as well, that is what i may do since these pups just don't strike my fancy.
