I am creating a new paint scheme for my army. I like the black and purple/pink of the Emperor's Children Legion of Chaos, and would like to do something similar.

What do you guys think of a black base coat. With Pink Horror and Emperors children highlighting, or a Xereus Purple and Genestealer purple highlighting.

Ideally I would like a color that is redder than emperors children for the highlighting. Something like screamer pink but more vibrant.

Personally, I would go with your second option, using Xereus or Druchii Violet and the Genestealer highlight, works well for DE. You could also try Reaper's Royal Purple for highlighting, or perhaps Vallejo's Sunset Red?

I usually use Reaper's Sparkling Amehyst, Regal Purple and Royal Purple, with a bit of Vallejo's flourescent Magenta mixed in for highlighting.

Cheers.
