Dark Eldar Fluff from the New Eldar Codex

Here are a couple mentions of Dark Eldar from the Eldar timeline.

514.M38
Ulthwe and the Jade Knife Kabal of Commorragh in the webway. The death toll rises to the thousands on either side. A truce is struck despite mutual loathing because both sides know that eldar lives are to valuable to waste in those numbers.

786.M41
Eldar from Saim-Hann invade an Imperial planet demanding that the Imperials evacuate. They refuse. The eldar force is outnumber a 100 to 1 so the eldar use their speed to avoid direct conflict and cripple the planets industrial zones before leaving the planet to his Dark Eldar allies.

Saim-Hann are known to be relatively barbaric compared to most Craftworlds. I found the idea of them leaving the poor sods to the cruel whims of the Dark Eldar hilarious. They'll have wished they'd just been cut down by the Wildriders.

I have noticed there is a considerable lack of the "doomed" part of the Eldar fluff now.
It looks very much fallen from extremely high, but still very high.

Whereas back in 2nd ed they were staving off extinction

Maybe the Craftworlders have decided to start getting busy
