So after running a Space Marines/Tau alliance at the Home Nations, its back to DE for me. A late consideration to take to Clan Wars in Stirling, that is going to be infested with Tau, Newdar and various other new nasties. But the Dark Eldar can totally take it! Ok maybe not, but I'd like to think that my army can remain slightly competitive.

Undecided between keeping the Ravagers as dark lances, or swapping them out for disintegrators for the Broadsides/MC's S5 ap2 spam shots. However, if I do that I am at a serious disadvantadge against mech. though since when did my DE ever beat a good mechanised force? Its a lot of shooting, and against Tau I can hopefully pepper down a Riptide first turn, 2 if I'm lucky with DL shots then remain out of range of HYMP Broadsides with my nightshields. Unless anyone fancies taking Railsides.... Skyrays will still be a problem though. I think I could put up a decent fight against Newdar, but the problem is those OP serpent shields - ignore cover, range over 9000"!. Wraithknights.. will last approx .2 seconds against this. So hopefully my friends will enjoy painting those shiny new expensive toys, to be removed 1st turn
Torn between putting a squad of Incubi in for the decisive close combat kill when required, a Voidraven for token anti-air or possibly another Venom mounted.. something.
