If you don't feel like putting quite that much effort in (it can be a pain, painting all the extra options), why not get some base rings? Or just use some rubber bands if you can't find anything else... A coloured ring around the base of your Trueborn only should make it extremely clear who has A2 Ld9, and who doesn't
(FWIW until I converted some for fun I just used the old/new split. None of my mates ever cared)
