| Just found this site and love the idea of this game, very cool. Has any more work been done on this? I can't find gang selection or cost etc? Thanks | |

| Well, I suppose the gangs made up so far are Kabalites, Wyches, Mandrakes, Hellions, Incubi, Scourges, Covenites, Reavers... And maybe some more, can you think of any, and their cost? I guess that Incubi and maybe some other gangs was supposed to be more of "hired swords" rather than regular gangs. But feel free to make up rules for the various teams! _________________ Kabal of the Shadow Phoenix - Background Kabal of the Shadow Phoenix - Painting BlogModelled: 2753 pts Painted: 2263pts - shamroll wrote:

| Did we ever get much of anywhere with it though? When I left about six months ago it still felt like i was floundering for direction and theme still - have we established that and moved onto gangs? I'm guessing the answer is...dead on the vine? _________________ The Title Troupe! - Nom fellow posters for custom titles. | |

| You know... Frankly, you might be right there, Thor... Maybe "Dead on the vine" is the best answer at the current moment - it does seems like right now, people doesn't really feel like working on the game. Supposedly, we just have to wait for that to happen. _________________ Kabal of the Shadow Phoenix - Background Kabal of the Shadow Phoenix - Painting BlogModelled: 2753 pts Painted: 2263pts - shamroll wrote:

| Whoever merged my two posts made a week apart - you're silly and since the rules allow bumps after 48 hours I was well within site guidelines. _________________ The Title Troupe! - Nom fellow posters for custom titles. | |

| Hey there folks of the forum. I have been a long time Mordheim and Necromunda fan and player. I just found this part of the forum, and am very interested to see who is still up for building the Rules for Commorragh - The Game.
I have over 100 files for Necromunda and Mordheim, including all the original rules and expansions/add-ons, homebrew rules, special actions and the rules used for vehicles in Necromunda. This will help as a solid foundation for rule making, especially as I've read over these rules hundreds of times.
So.....is Commorragh - The Game nearing it's final breath, or would other forumites be interested in seeing what I could come up with as a basic rule foundation? Anyone's heart set on a specific rule base? I think Necromunda and all it's expansion stuff would work best as a starting point.
P.S. I did read over some of the gang/kabal/coven/cult ideas going around already, as well as the more dark eldar based skill lists. I think the warband style from Mordheim works bests for the gang build, with the hired gun system of both being used to supplement them. _________________ ---- Simsala Bimbamba Saladu Saladim ---- Kabal of the Ilmaea AscendedPainting Project Log Commorragh - The Game Core Rule Project Log

| I've always loved the idea of a Commorragh skirmish game. I've just never posted here because I love lurking so. If I had some spare time I could think up some equipment for people to buy, as everyone else has done the wild stuff and developed gangs or whatnot. | |

| That sounds good Enociac, Over the winter break I plan to make a pdf that compiles and constructs the rules for the game, along with gangs/kabals/cults and some other goodies. If you want, create a thread about weapons, and we can shop some ideas around. Come mid December I hope to have a thread created which has the basic rules and groups defined for people to check out and give feedback on.
P.S. PM me if you need any resources, I have all the files both official and homebrew for Mordheim, Necromunda, and Gorkamorka. _________________ ---- Simsala Bimbamba Saladu Saladim ---- Kabal of the Ilmaea AscendedPainting Project Log Commorragh - The Game Core Rule Project Log

| I was a great fan of Necromunda, and would love to play a DE version of it. Thing is, as the only DE player I know, I wouldn't have anyone to play with.
I hope that Zahaladune and Enociac are able to breathe some life back into this project though. Maybe I'll be able to persuade someone to borrow a gang from me if there is an existant set of rules to play by. _________________ Back from a long journey in realspace... | I get that, It's hard to find people who wanna play skirmish games, even though they tend to be the most fun; to me anyway. This should definitely be a interesting, and fun endeavor. Now I just gotta get started .... Edit: I have created a new thread which will eventually encompass all the rules for this game system. A brief description of my plans and the rule system is given in the introduction post. A link to this thread can be found in my signature. _________________ ---- Simsala Bimbamba Saladu Saladim ---- Kabal of the Ilmaea AscendedPainting Project Log Commorragh - The Game Core Rule Project Log

| Wandering around the site, I just stumbled across these two threads in the specialist games board: http://www.thedarkcity.net/t5971-cavash-s-kill-team http://www.thedarkcity.net/t7282-the-urban-warfare-project They are both about Kill Team, and include discussions for turning that game into more of a campaign. Might be useful for some ideas. _________________ Back from a long journey in realspace... Project Log: Kabal of the Bloodspray CorsairsFlickr: jjtweed's Photostream | |

| Ahhhh...Kill Teams, I hadn't considered that. There could definitely be some useful info/rule-sets/scenarios hidden away in there. I'll have to review those two threads as well.... _________________ ---- Simsala Bimbamba Saladu Saladim ---- Kabal of the Ilmaea AscendedPainting Project Log Commorragh - The Game Core Rule Project Log | |

| If you are interested, check out my project log in my signature. Read over the general description, and feel free to add any comment or suggestions you might have. I should have the general rules up and running by the end of December. Any suggestions for rules, vehicles, warbands etc. are welcome. Make sure to read the description first though _________________ ---- Simsala Bimbamba Saladu Saladim ---- Kabal of the Ilmaea AscendedPainting Project Log Commorragh - The Game Core Rule Project Log | |

| Sorry for the Necro, just wanted to see if this project is still going. If not, are there any plans to revive it? It looks very interesting to me. _________________ Pray they don't take you alive.

| (To be read as Chamberlain from The Dark Crystal) Hmmmmmm... HMMMMMMM...
It's been some time since this project stopped, but thank you for the Necro to my inbox.
It looks like the link to the beta rules is broken, come this weekend I'll be sure to fix that. I didn't have any plans to revive, or even revisit this old thing, but you may be able to persuade me into lending some fresh effort to the cause.
What are your thoughts on the matter? Have you been able to view the rules so far? _________________ ---- Simsala Bimbamba Saladu Saladim ---- Kabal of the Ilmaea AscendedPainting Project Log Commorragh - The Game Core Rule Project Log

| Not really. I don't have a Scribd sub, so I can't download the rules. The idea itself is what intrigued me, and I realised that with the new Necromunda, Kill Team, and Warcry stuff, there would be new material to play around with. Just my 2 cents. _________________ Pray they don't take you alive.

| I've updated the link to a G drive file anyone can access. Give the rules a review if you like.
There have been some new games to come out, but the heart of this project was to utilize the more detailed, DnD-esque rules of the older boxed games of the 90s. I'll have to look through some of the newer titles GW offers. I do like the use of cards in squad based games, so maybe there is something I can pull from that vein of things. _________________ ---- Simsala Bimbamba Saladu Saladim ---- Kabal of the Ilmaea AscendedPainting Project Log Commorragh - The Game Core Rule Project Log
