How do you run your Incubi?

I usually run all-shooting lists, but recently I was contemplating trying some Incubi. Basically, I was wondering how people run them:

1) How many do you run?

2) Do you put a character with them (a Haemonculus for a pain token, an Archon/succubus to help in combat), or do they do fine by themselves?

3) Do you use the squad champion and (if so) are any of his upgrades worth purchasing?

I love incubi. I find that you have to run enough guys to make a difference, but not enough to kill everything in one round of combat. For example, if you assault and wipe out a marine squad in one round, then all the other marines will gun you down. If you take two rounds to kill the marines, then you're protected. I usually run 5 or 6 per squad with a haemonculi to bring a pain token. Six incubi will kill ten marines in two rounds of combat. The pain token makes them pretty durable. The leader guy is pretty pricy, so I don't usually take him. Taking the haemonculi means you have someone that can take challenges if needs be. I also, have the Baron hanging around to join the unit if they need to assault into cover. Give them a raider with aethersails and you're gold!

Generally I find they are pretty pricey (especially if you want a sure fire PGL in the form of an archon) but nothing will wreck everything harder then an archon with huskblade and his Incubi. Ever seen a GK players face after you wipe his entire squad of paladins off the board before they even attack. I have and its almost worth the points all by itself lol. However Rancid is right about wanting to be in combat more then a round as they were then all boomed by a Leman Russ :/

Nope. Cause paladins strike before incubi. Any decent player would have halberds.

In fact, when DE was only recent released codex Incubi was sorta the thing, screwing all those BA and MEQ armies. Next was GK and it hit them hard, to the point when everyone changed to Trueborn.

So GK pretty much hard counter Incubi. Most of their builds can cantain only units that incubi literally cannot assault with any hope of sucess. Overwatch only made it worse. Divination Librarians also helped.

5 with klaivex

Other upgrade are pts dependent.
The bloodstone is very good/

Not actualy tried the 5 with klaivex yet.
