500 Points List

Howdy. I put up an old list like last year so instead of thread necro I made a new topic. I have a battle box plus two other boxes of wyches and warriors. I haven't opened the other two boxes yet as I am going to try and see how it goes with this small set up first.

HQ:

Archon with Venom Blade and Shadowfield 95 points

Troops:

9 Wyches with haywire grenades 108 points
10 Warriors 100 points

FA:

3 Reavers 66 points

Transport:

1 Raider with night shields and aether sails 75 points
1 Raider (proxy) with sails 65 points

Total: 509 points.

Looks good? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I like it, but in my opinion, I don't put Reavers and put a Venom with more warriors and don't put a shadowfield in archon.

In 500 points don't need waste more points with equipments.

But I repeat, it's a funny list.

Thing is I don't have any Venoms. I am already going to proxy one raider and I don't want to do any more proxies. Should I use the clone field instead? I am using little equipment only because it helps fill up points else I am no where close to hitting 500.

Ok. So you are right.

get rid of sails (raiders are your only long range AT, don't overdue with their movement ). For the points, give a heatlance / blaster to the bikers, and you might give warriors a splinter cannon.

I would keep the shadow field. It makes archons pretty tough at 500pts. I would also drop the sails they not bring anything to this list. Also so that your list is 499pts, being 9pts over is a lot, most clubs won't let you go over the allocated points limit, tournament definitely won't so it's good to get into good habits from the get go. I would also drop the night shield to give your warriors a splinter cannon.

FA: Reavers x 3; 66 Points

Troops:
Warriors x 10; Shredder. Splinter Cannon 105 Pointa
Raider; 60 points
Wyches x 9; Haywire Grnades 108 Points
Raider; 60 points

Total: 499 points
