| This is the unfinished test model for my Dark Eldar. I am going to change up a couple of things, 1) helmet will not be black, but will be more of a soft white cream color with red and black slashes 2) Weapons will not have any metallic on them, all blades and pointy bits will be painted in a bone color 3) each unit with have checkerboard or diamond patterns on left shoulder pad to act as unit identifiers 4) loincloths will have little designs on the corners and edges to dress them up a it. my inspiration for this army pattern were some wasps I came across, so there is a lot of deep red, which doesn't show up very well in this image, and an ocher yellow color. The bone aspect for the weapons is taken from the movie & Books by Frank Herbert, Dune. I'm not a dune fanatic, but the Freemen do sound somewhat like DE and its a cool fluff to include. | |

| I'd ditch the pink on the helmet. The accentuating looks great but I think the pink is clashing too much with the rest of the model. | |

| I agree, the purple is too much. | |

| I really like the warrior on the left. The way the helmet colours correspond with the armour is very nice. While the other one looks very nice as well, I think the blue helmet is a bit too much. | |

| I agree with Radium. The one on the left is top notch. The one of right contrasts harshly too much. | |

| It seems everyone is on the same track. I also agree that the one on the left looks a lot more fitting with the rest of the armour. It's a very striking scheme you've got going on and I quite like it. If the pink was any darker, then I don't think it would look as good, but the off-white pink is very easy on the eye. Good work GAR Maybe it's the photo, but it looks like you've done a lot shading as well. Either way the armour looks really good! |

| Agreed, the one on the left is better looking. The blue just clashes for some reason. It might look better if the helmet was more blue, like not white at all, blue with a shadow. | |

| I really like the first one, the helmet has a strange 'exotica' feel to it. They're all very good.
Out of the new pair I'll side with the others, though well painted the colour and shades of the warrior on the right don't seem to flow with the rest of the miniature.
Keep us posted. | |

| While I think the blue helmet looks awesome, I agree with the others that it doesn't fit with the body colours. The red looks better, even withcold and hot bodies. | |
