Bladevaning flying MC?

Hi!

I'm having some trouble concerning bladevane attacks. CAN you bladevane a swooping flying monstrous creatures. Rules say that you can bladevane an unengaged non-vehicle unit, which a flying monstrous creature is neither. But on the other hand, when swooping, a flying monstrous creature can only be hit by snap-shots, which bladevane attack is uncapable of. So.. My question is.. Can you do it?

So no you can't bladevane flying monstrous creatures.

But you can vector strike them.

That's because Vector strike was specifically ruled in the FAQ to be able to target flying opponents.

Ok great! Never thought of the Vector Strike! Thanks guys, this helped a lot!

After doing some digging I have to check.. Is it legal in game terms to perform a vector strike with reavers against a flying monstrous creature? I couldn't find any help from the FAQs and this clearly bothers me now.. :/

Reavers don't have vector strike. If they did it would be legal to use against a flying MC as per the BRB FAQ
