| Hello. I'm hopefully attending a tournament up at Warhammer world in February and was looking for some input on a few lists I've come up with.
Its a doubles game with 600 pts per person and my team mate will either be using a Necron list consisting of 2 units of warriors, 10 immortals and Illuminor Szeras or a marine scout list.
I went to the same event last year with my team mate using the Necron list and me using a chaos marine list (dark apostle, 20 marines and 4 terminators) and we did rather well winning 2/3 games (only lost the first game due to forgetting there was a timer on the objective game).
We won best army (which made me very happy as that is what I was aiming for) and I'm hoping to win that again this time round if all goes to plan.
So on to the lists. I have three in mind (all of which are very similar).
List 1 -Haemonculus, venom blade -5 warriors -5 warriors -3 wracks -3 venoms, additional splinter cannon -2 ravagers, flicker fields
List 2 -Haemonculus, venom blade, liquifier gun -3 wracks -3 wracks -3 wracks -3 venoms, additional splintercannon -2 ravagers, flicker fields, night shields
List 3 -Haemonculus, venom blade -4 wracks -4 wracks -4 wracks -3 venoms, additional splintercannon -2 ravagers, flicker fields
In all 3 lists the ravagers will have disintegrators (due to me being a huge fan of them and having poor roles with lances) as my team mate will be able to deal with tanks and flyers (not many are used in these tournaments) unless their lists change between now and then or we struggle in any test games.
I think at 600 pts all these lists are competitive and I'm simply looking for some outside input on them.
My other thought on a potential list is to take list 3 and swap the 2 ravagers for 2 talos pain engines with chain flails and give the Haem a liquifier with the spare points. Its not very competitive but is themed and I like a good theme list.
Thanks for reading and please give feedback and criticize where its due.

| Haha I know; I was really tempted to pretend that I was someone from one of the other stores, and start making fun of "the stupid-looking guy partnered with the cool guy with long hair | |

| Fun format!
My introduction to Dark Eldar was Invasion doubles last February; my partner and I both went with DE we had similar lists to yours. The major difference between our lists and yours is: i) we didn't run the 2nd ravager, but had more points in the troop choices ii) Lances rather than dissies.
From memory I think I ran Haemy 5 Warriors, Blaster in a Venom 5 Warriors, Blaster in a Venom Bunch of wyches with Haywire in a Raider Ravager.
My partner's was similar but I think he had wyches in the venoms and warriors in the raider.
My main comment on the multiple wrack lists is simply the lack of bodies, but that is always a concern at low points.
We also went 2 wins with a loss on a timed out objective game! Doh!

| Ben I would have guessed it was you from the name. @Sand Viper - That's cool, I was tempted to go for a list with raiders but in the small point games I feel like the venoms and ravagers will do more that the extra men (although the lack of bodies is a major problem with the lists in general) With the dissies over lances It all really depends on what my partner takes for his list (Ben *cough cough*) but the ravagers I've built have the weapons magnetized so I can play test the different load outs. I really wanted to fit blasters in the squads but cant do it without quite a lot of changes which aren't really worth it I think. Congrats on getting the same result as me and my team mate (did you go up with one of the stores last year?). | |

| It's swings and roundabouts on the troop choices. We did look at minimum size wrack squads to unlock venoms but in the end felt we wanted to get a bit more use out of our troop slots. And yeah we went up on the coach with one of the stores. Lots of fun | |

| @nullus - I doubt I'll get enough deldar painted by February, so I'll probably go with necrons again; so dissies will be preferable (luvverly luvverly gauss) I think that was something like: Illuminor Szeras 13 Warriors 12 Warriors 10 Immortals w/gauss blasters

| Awesome.
That's cool, yea I'll probably give them dissies then. We'll have to test play a load of games and yes I think that is the army you took up.

| Me and my brother also played in last February's Invasion, winning all three games with a Necron/Daemon list. xD Small World.
What I'm planning on taking up this year is something wildly different to your lists, with splinter raiders instead of two of the vemons and the Wracks replaced by splinter cannon trueborn in the third and only the one Ravager.
Though this is only because every time I added up a similar list to yours it came to over 600...not sure what I was doing wrong.
Out of the lists, I'd go with the third. The Ravagers don't really need the night shields, and only REALLY need the Flickerfield if you go second, on the first turn, and the points are better spent on more bodies for objectives. In my opinion anyway.

| Haha, very small world.
That's cool :)I'll have to keep an eye out for dark eldar lists this year.
I like that list. I was tempted by raiders but after the last few games I've played with them I think that venoms are more reliable (and have a smaller foot print which is helpful as terrain was a little sparse there last year).
Yea I'm thinking list three is better than list two but list one is looking more likely as it mean painting the least amount of wracks which are not my cup of tea when it comes to painting. Although if I get them done in time I'll probably go for list three.

| Yeah...the scenerey last year was a bit rubbish. I expect more people to bring along fortifications to make up for it.
The only real reason my list is Raiders is because that's what I have, otherwise I'd go for the Venoms.
My main concern this time around is to take as much killy stuff as possible in the points, my brother is covering the objectives with Nurgle Daemons.
