Six games over 2 days, previously with players from throughout BC and across Canada, although only locals signed up so far. 1500 pts and Astro always has very unique scenarios. You can check out some examples on the web site, scenario-of-the-month, they also have a CD full of scenarios that is worth getting.

Has always been highly regarded wherever/whenever they are held, although this year they have had venue issues in each city. The Vancouver tournie was quite late getting announced because of the delay caused by the venue problem here, and many had already booked vacations or other events, so still lots of spaces.

Yah I'm painting feverishly to try and make it this year. Its always a fun event....for 40k anyway .... After last years fantasy cheese I'm goin for 40k de Instead.

I'll be there - list is now sorted, will be typing up and submitting this weekend and then painting frantically to get everything done - 40+ models to paint, plus an extra 2 vehicles! (in addition to finishing stuff already started)

Well, it's 3am on Friday morning, and the tournie starts at 9am on Saturday. I have just finished painting my army and objectives and pain tokens.

And I have a manager's meeting in ...... 7 hours.

*groan*

Well done, at least it's all done now, and you're set for foodhammer (after painting another 250 points! )
