Eldar Dark Reapers

Anyone have any experience allying with these guys? For 38pts/model (if you use both missile types) they seem to be capable of providing a lot of AT or AI, probably pretty good at busting Hammerheads too.

Or is there just better stuff to field from the craftworlds?

I like them. I have often used them with a Farseer and Exarch, usually in some sort of fortification with a AA gun. With the right psychic support they simply delete anything that doesn't have a 2+ save (or decent invulnerable) and are pretty good against vehicles and flyers too.

Some guys around run them with Farseer and an Iridium Tau Commander, that gives them lot of special rules. Real dirty if you ask me. THey are good unit, much better then in 5th.

If you're gonna take small squad - take Wave Serpent for them and put Farseer there as well.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that they also give access to a Wave Serpent. When used as allies that usually gives me 2 Serpents, which is pretty decent.

I ran a small squad of them, with an exarch, in a winter league. They impressed the hell out of me, just deploy them centrally in cover and watch any space marine player freak out. Teamed up with a farseer, the Duke and the dukes chosen homies, they can give you some control over the middle of the board, and make it easier to flank with everything else, while your opponent is trying to grab cover behind all of his wrecked vehicles:)
