Getting ready for Feast of Blades this year.

I don't think any other countries do it, but in America there is a huge tournament that is supposedly the hardest to win in the world. Well, anyways, I'm getting ready for the qualifiers in June/July and I want to play a list that is fun, not so competitive, but still allows competitive players to have a good time. Here it is -

It's supposed to be fluffy but I through in the Haemonculus Raider because... What Coven Master travels by feet? Anyways, I was wondering if you guys think this list looks good, I debated on bringing a Beast unit instead of the 2 scourge squads with cannons. The raider moves up 6" and deploys 6" so I can deploy the webway close.

Also, I plan to win the qualifiers by my painting and conversions, I was wondering if that was possible though -This question is directed at a fellow member of the U.S.-

Sadly I think your list is going to get butchered. You basically have 3 sources of AT (2 Ravagers and 1 unit of Scourges). They will die very quickly, leaving you effectively with no means to deal with enemy vehicles. Okay, the Talos and Grots can technically do a job but they are pretty easy to keep away from, especially if you're talking about fast vehicles.

I assume from the retrofire jets that you plan on deep striking your Ravagers. This leaves your only other vehicle, the Grot Raider, as the only target on the table to the enemy AT weapons. It's going to die unless you can manage to completely block LOS. That leaves your Grots footslogging.

You have no means of dealing with flyers.

You have a lot of points tied up in upgrades to models that will die very easily. Huskblades and Flesh Gauntlets are very expensive and I'm not entirely sure they're worth it.

I'm also not sure what you plan on doing with the WWPs. One is on foot and the other on one of your few vehicles (which will get shot down turn 1). So you're basically spending 70 points on getting your assault units 12" onto the table by the start of turn 2 (at the earliest) and be unable to assault. You're better off foot slogging and spending the points on more bodies.

To be honest I'm not sure how I would make your list more competitive whilst still maintaining the fluff. I don't see any way for example, to get AA into a fluffy list like this. AT is hard too, although perhaps spamming Taloi could work for that if you can get close enough to the enemy armour, and that would also fit the Coven theme. You said at the top of your post though that you're looking for fun more than competitive so if your list is fun to play then go for it!

In FoB I imagine I should win 1-2 and lose 1-2 (and tie 0-1 times) depending on how my games go.

Also, my ravagers will either deepstrike or not deepstrike, depending on the opponent.
