1850 Need Some Help

Hi Everyone!

I am looking for some help with my DE list.

Currently it looks like this...

I am attempting to make the list have the following...

> Some Ignores Cover Weapons (Currently the 4x Liquifiers)
> Plenty of Lances (Currently 18x)
> Some Haywire (Wyches atm)
> 2x Flyers for Anti Air Duties (Covered)
> 2CC Squads (Covered)
> Plenty of Poison Shooting (6x Venoms and 15x Warriors should cover that)
> FNP & Furious Charge on the CC Squads

I have 26pts left at the moment and there isnt really much I can spend that on. I am unsure on the Haemo's but I do not know what else I could change really.

The list needs to be pure DE only. It will be used in a team tournament later this year and each team of 4 is 1x army codex per team so sadly no Eldar Allies as someone else is using Eldar.

I would have taken a beastpack but without a Farseer I dont know if that would end well!!!

Many of you guys know much better than I do. What would you change in the list and what should I spend those last 26pts on if no changes (I was thinking Retrofire Jets on the Raiders so I could deep strike the CC units)?

Upgrading a model to an acothyst and and a hekatrix give both a venom blade, add the shatter shard to one of the homonculi. drop flicker fields on the two raiders but add enchanced aether sail to them.

This will make your two assault units ld 9 instead of 8, it will ad to their kiliness especially the wyches. Enchanced aether sails will greatly increase the movement of your assault raiders. The cost of flicker fields is only needed if you know you are facing a lot of ignore cover weapons.

The list looks very solid! that's just my thoughts.

I would replace the Razorwings with Voidravens. They;re the same base cost, and the weapons are better (Void Lances will help fill out your lance complement and will be far more efficient against other flyers).

Sails do actually make more sense on the basis those 2 Raiders are likely going to turbo boost first turn anyway so I might make that change... Good Call!!! Actually I will drop the Nightshields in favour of the Sails and leave the FF on just in case I don't get turn 1. Nothing worse than CC units that cant get there!

Leadership 9 sounds good as well! Didnt think of that at all...

Not sure about the Voidraven's, the base cost is the same but you have to pay for the missiles which kinda sucks.

Played a game today and killed 19/21 bloodletters from firing 2 missiles at them after they deep striked, after that I dont think I would ever run them without Missiles again...

Run the pts now and after the changes the list comes out at 1849 pts and is now as follows.

Does this look better. I like it a lot more thats for sure...

Curious, you listed there was 18 lances, I count 15.

2 x for razorwings - so 4, 3 x for ravager so 7, 1 x each for raiders so 9, and then 9 blasterborn so 18?

I personally think swapping 1 razorwing out for a void raven would be good tactics. In my experience with razorwings I have sucked versus flyers and bolter fire...

I'm not a massive fan of venom heavy list but I think you have a pretty good mix of different stuff to make it not a cheesy list
