Greetings fellow sadists

I've recently taken up the hobby again after a few years away, I previously played a space marine force but on my return, having poured over the lore the Dark Elder just seems like a better fit and more interesting to play. I've joined this community in hopes of picking your brains for painting tips and rule FAQ's to enhance my game! Currently I'm just at the start of building my army (1000 points) which I've under coated, played some games with at the GW store and a couple friendly with friends.

So that's where I am with 40k, I have some custom lore bubbling in my mind for my force, hopefully some one can give me some feed back on it once the broth has boiled and I put pencil to paper (finger to key)

The FAQ is quite important, the one GW has released for DE corrects a lot of mistakes and makes a lot of guys more useful, like incubi, so be sure to check it out (is linked here in resources section I think).

Painting tips, there's a bunch of subforums for that. Starting a project log is a good idea too, to put everything in one thread.
