My evil Elves lists for Escalation league (500 to 2000)

I feel I've got a decent amount of Eldar and Dark Eldar stuff now, but not enough to make a 2000pt list entirely out of either.  I'm wondering what you guys think of this:

5x Scourges (not sure how to kit these guys since I don't own them yet)

Spiritseer (Mantle, Shard or Wraithforge Stone)

5x Dire Avengers w/ Exarch (battle fortune, 2x catapults)
in a Wave Serpent (TL cannons, holo-fields)

5x Wraithguard (AS TROOPS! w/ cannons)

I can see a few holes here, but I won't be playing this for about 3 months (we start at 500 then work our way up 500pts a month).  I know I'm banking on a million snap-shots to deal with Anti-Air duties, and I think I'd have better luck splitting up the Wyches into 2 units in Venoms instead of the death barge.

Tear this list to shreds please! It will make you stronger!

I have some Fire Dragons I might try to throw in. I also have Striking Scorpions, but Wyches are much better at killing, and cheaper, and they score objectives, and they murder tanks.

Drop the scourges, they are suicide units that don't have enough punch to be like fire dragons. Designate the reavers for either anti-tank or anti-troop, not both. You'll find you have wasted points if you do. I don't understand the choice of 2 haemys. You have no wracks or grots and no real place for them. He's slower than wyches, compliment wyches with a succubus for some decent attacks. Why only give the wraithknight a bright lance??? You'll still only have a 50% chance of penetrating most of the time. Put a sun cannon on him for amazing twinlinked anti troop blasts (scatter laser twin links it), or keep the S10 cannons on him.

You need to focus your trueborn as well. Make them all anti tank or anti infantry. Personaly i dedicate a venom for them but ill buy 3 guys and upgrade 2 with either cannons or lances and put them in cover to snipe basically. Its cheap and very cost effective. Raiders full of wyches are first priority and will kill 75% of them when it goes down. I out 5 in venoms with HG and tank hunt. Also, you need ravagers. And why duke? I dont think you have enough cult selections to warrant the points for him. The list has some potential but it seems scatter brained. No disrespect intended.

Okay, that's exactly what I needed actually.  And I like this forum specifically for the fact that people are honest without being jerks.  Most of the choices are based on what I have right now instead of what I might pick up in the next few months.

--I'm definitely buying Scourges because I must paint them.  They'll find a way in there somewhere, but for now they're gone, because I know Fire Dragons are amazing.

--Reavers will probably be anti-troop all the way.  I love Bladevanes so much, and was thinking about splitting them into two min units to crisscross the table from opposite sides.  Heat lance = GONE.

--I think I'll stick with Haemonculus #1 as a cheap HQ.  I was mostly thinking I would need a pain token on my Wyches and Reavers.  I'm debating getting Wracks (don't really like their models too much).

--Wraithlord might take a missile launcher instead of the bright lance, as I feel it's a better utility weapon.

--I really like your idea of using the Venom Trveborns as snipers.  I originally had 10 wyches split between two Venoms, but they get shot to hell before getting where they need to be.  I suppose that extra hull point isn't going to be much of a help either, and I'll lose fewer if they're split up.

--Ravager noted.  I definitely feel only having one Heavy Support item is a bad idea.

--I'm wondering if Vect would be a better Warlord.  I think I just like the Duke's fluff a lot and the added poison seems nice.

3x Reavers w/ Cluster Caltrops (starting them out as anti-infantry)

I probably won't add in Eldar allies until about 1250.
