Help forging a narrative with the Kabal of the Black Heart...

This is rather embarassing. I'm painting my force Kabal of the black heart colors because I love having the most influential and powerful Kabal in Commoragh, I also love Vect. Though, reading someone elses' post today gave me an embarassing realization... What will my army be fighting for? It seems to me that having the strongest military force in commoragh, and the supreme ruler on your side, does the black heart Kabal really need to perform real space raids? Can't they just inflict pain and misery on the residents and other Kabals of commoragh? I'm just having a difficult time forging a narrative for my new force, and I must admit, a lot of it is probably largely due to ignorance on the front of fluff. So Can anyone here help me out?

The Black Heart fights for power, pain, prestige, profit, and pleasure. Pick one, any, or all, blend to taste, and proceed. They have too many foes to be able to rest on their laurels, and their power is based, partly, on their success in raids, so they do need to continuously prove they are the best.
