Thanks for the warm welcomes fellows,
The gaming scene in Turkey consists of a gaming club called TUSOT (Turkish War Games Community). It is mainly branched in all three big cities (Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir). Tusot organizes country wide tournaments and the community's aim is to gain the experience and skills to join bigger tournaments in Europe and America. Tusot as of now has nearly two hundred members ( not all of them are active players i think)
We have a few game stores in Turkey to buy GW material and play games. The tournaments are organized in these game stores. The tables are plenty with heavy terrains. I myself won a green tournament for beginners ( with a few experienced players with some cheese armies mixed in:)). I saw the dark eldar models one of the green players had brought and it was love at first sight:)
Besides playing in flgs, we made a gaming table at home and make friendly matches between three players. But i don't think this kind of war table is available to most of the players.
WH40K is the most played game in our local. Warhammer Fantasy, X-Wing, Infinity and Flames of War are played a lot too.
Thanks for the tips, i have nearly read all of Mushkilla's battles. It is very inspiring and fun!
Note: I tried to link Tüsot's facebook page but as a green member it is off limits for me at least for now. You can search it in web (But is written only in Turkish:( )
