| So I have about 20 or so spare Flagellants sitting around on my desk from my Empire army. How would I best go about to convert them into Wracks? I have spare heads from my Kabalite and Venom sprues, but I am not sure I have enough weapons to arm them. There are also a few Flagellant-heads that are helmeted that I think could work with this. I am gonna use green stuff to make put some poxes on them, and also some wiring to act as tubes through their muscles.
You think I could use Dark Eldar arms on them as well as the guns? How would you guys approach this? Any interesting ideas?
Thanks! | |

| Sure, why not. Just put those faceless heads on them. Weapons could be the wyches usual knives and such, while the liquifier could be a bulked up splinter pistol, and the hex rifles could be easily made with a splinter rifle, some plastic tube and rod. | |

| For the liquifier I'd bash together a splinter pistol an a shredder. The poisoned weapons could be everything. The originals use an arsenal of cleavers, wicked looking knives and spiked clubs. I think most of the flagelant's clubs look to plump to be DE, but they could be modified easily. The heads are a bigger problem, but with the blank venom heads, standard warrior helmets, a little greenstuff, a hobby knife and maby a drill it should be possible to resemble the wrack's trademark helmets.

| I think I am gonna try and find some of the blank helmeted venom heads on ebay or something. There is a similar head on the wych-sprue too, right? | |

| I think there are 2 blank helmets on the wych-sprue, that are similar to the venom ones, since the venom crew are wyches. | |

| I have seen people use the spare 'twigs' from the Dryads glued onto the backs of the Flagellants to make wracks, they look good. Also I've seen people use the Ghoul bodies on Flagellant legs too - this is a lot of work though, and if you have to make 10 it's really offputting. | |

| I used the Venom pilot head on the body of a flagellant, and it looks good. I had to trim the neck a little bit to make it fit properly. Regular kabalite warrior arms were used, and it works pretty well. I put a shard carbine in its hands though, I might adjust that and let it dual-wield daggers instead... The other option is to modify the carbine so it can pass for a hexrifle. That is probably what I will end up doing. Elongate the barrel with a nail or a screw or a piece of wire, and put some of the barrel-blades included in the kabalite kit and call it a day. | |

| Well, I can't post links yet, but if you check out Shackled Goblin Studios on Blogspot, I did some of these. Alternatively, I think mine come up second on a Google image search for "Dark Eldar Wracks".
Empire Flagellants, with some pointy bits, chaos warrior heads and a few diodes. Cheap and easy.
I used "Hoard O' Bits" on Ebay to get what I needed.
Hope this helps. | |

Here's the link for you - they look pretty sweet, especially the Liquifiers.

Ah! Thank you. I'd nearly forgotten that the Liquifiers were different. Their torsos are Fantasy Ghouls, arms are Kroot, rest is as above.
