Blog wars 7 tournament

A cracking little tournament held in the north west gaming centre in Stockport UK. I have been twice so far and am going again this year. It is a mix between friendly and competitive and the rules and mission pack give it a nice balance. I shall be bringing my adeptus custodes asy DE are nowhere near complete. Still a few tickets left if people are interested.

I've heard of this tournament a few times, probably a bit more famous than they wanted for the whole Franco walk off thing.

Is it yearly or bi-yearly?

Would be interesting to get a The Dark City team for a future one.

Haha yes I was there when it happened. Both parties had valid points but just blew up more than it should. Generally a very relaxed tournament. I think they are generally bi yearly. A dark city team would be cool and give me a spur to get a force ready to game with

I'd be interested in hitting one up later in the year. If we get concrete plans we should look to promote this on the forum and assemble a crack team to go there with.

I'm sure Count Adhemar would be up for it..?

Had a great time at blog wars yesterday. Finished in 6th place overall with my grey knights, which I am dead chuffed about. A really friendly atmosphere with not too many cheesy lists about. Here is the link to the results standings for those interested. Next one in November.

Do you have a date for the next tournament and what are the sizes of the teams (min-max)?

And of course I ask the fated question - who would be up for forming a The Dark City team, obviously only using Dark Eldar (allies permitted too) armies?

No specific date has been set yet for the next blog wars but will post up as soon as it is announced. Games are set at 1850 but there is no team tournament or anything. Purely one man games. A few gaming clubs or teams of friends go and see where they place compared to each other but there is no team awards or anyhting like that. I will try amd get a tourney force of my DE painted ready if any more DE denizens are coming. It will be a struggle as my painting mojo is lapse for 40k at the mo but this could be the spur I need to get a playable force done. Would love to take them to a tournament.
