That's a vagary of the individual die. All of the chessex ones in their 'gemini' style have that; some of them will always be a better mix than others. I own a set of the smaller steel-green dice; the steel grey is the 'base' plastic, the accent colour (green or purple) is then mixed in and swirled around, some dice will always get a greater mix than others. As an example, I'm holding a die right now from my box that has a hint of green on the '1' face and the rest is pure silver, and another which is almost exclusively green barring a stripe across the '6' face. Most of them are a decent mix. It's not a problem, just an unavoidable feature of the manufacturing process. On topic, the symbol looks great. Excellent choice. +EDIT+ from another look at the picture, I'm willing to bet that the edge where the '2' and '5' faces on that specific dice meet is purple, and there's a decent splodge of the colour on those two sides. Just happens to be the angle the photo was taken from to show off the glyph also has predominantly silver-visible sides. | |
