| Hi all, just a few WIPs of my harlequin themed army. It started off being pure eldar, but I needed some decent transportation and some shenanigans that i didnt think i could get with my regular Eldar. So i bought some DE off a pal before he moved , so now Ill have a dual Faction army.
The main trouble is that the harlequins and melee units in general wreck face if they get into CC, its just getting there thats the trouble, hence the raiders! and Wych cults.
Speaking of wyches, I may be converting some WFB sisters of slaughter to harlequin style wyches, not sure yet.
The reason for this idea was. i always liked the harlequin fluff , and I ordered some from ebay from a guy in the UK, and the idea was to strip them and repaint, but they showed up in a glorious late 80s colour scheme complete with Prince(!) song titles on some of their bases . so i decided to carry on with the 'eavy Metal 80s colours.
C&C welcome

| And the extras that I also used dark Eldar bitz on these are Dark Elves spears , mated to a windrider body and a Dark Eldar head. Some have some green stuff added to the heads . In a moment of brillliance/stupidity I thought it would be cool to give them rainbow ROYGBIV haircolours . But I got sick of it ( and ran out of time) so the last one was a reg head all silver . All of these pics are WIPs btw so they need some washes/gems/matte coatings etc in case you think they look a bit raw, they do, because they are | |

| And last and not least the 3 War walkers. I got one that was smashed to bits a from a pal for free, so I had to repair it . I then thought it would be cool all black and white like a WW1 dazzle-ship camouflage . then I thought a colourful pilot would accent it a bit better. Then I reversed it on teh 2 I bought, to make them colourful , and a Black and White Pilot. Phew. I will be painting/converting a wave serpent and 3 raiders plus a few units of kabalites/wyches and a Model to be used as a solitaire, I may be using a Sisters of slaughter mini from WFB, so keep an eye open bye for now | |

| Hey Dude165 loving seeing another harle themed force, you have infact started something very similar to a project im working on; only with a slightly different aesethetic. I absolutely love the rogue trader models so classic and while rather static still great models. I am actually really enjoying your painting style, its got plenty of flare and bright colours. I imagine it looks totally crazy on the tabletop Whereas, with mine ive also gone with a DE/E mix (but only with modern plastic sets) and im mixing and matching between the races for what I would call a more sinister harlequin force. What I went with was that in the fluff the harle's are considered to use mind altering toxins so that when their enemies look upon them they see their worst nightmares. as such my models are modelled with more of a daemon, evil look. To achieve this i used parts from DE/E and fantasy (all elf races basically and some human factions such as empire wizard kits). I would highly recommend the fantasy witch kit, its an absolutely fantastic kit with amazing poses. Plus, because its a dual kit, you get so many optional heads and weapons that can be used on your wyches to great effect. il try and find some examples where ive used them - I haven't uploaded any pics for a little while so i might not have any :/ Alas, i do not, i will take some tonight as its a modelling night for me but here I have used the spare heads on my WIP duke sliscus conversion: | |

| They hurt my wrist when I had to paint them too! Ironically the checkerboard was the quickest part !
15 minutes of masking and 2 passes with the airbrush | |
