Nafka Reporting New Codex, Voidraven, and Incubi Next Month

Didn't see this on here yet, so I thought I'd post it.

I find myself, probably for the first time, having my hope outweigh my inerrant negativity. Plastic Incubi! I want them!

And if they actually do this then I'll beexpecting my plastic AspectWrriors some time soon.

The source of this rumour has an excellent track record for accuracy but I'm still somewhat dubious as to the idea of plastic Incubi. I just don't see them selling well enough to justify the production cost as they are elite choices.

To counter that, GW are attempting to make everything plastic and move away from Finecast generally. I would anticipate the plastic Incubi being a combo-kit with a new unit at that price, though I'm struggling to think what that would be.

As with most stuff I see on Nafka:

If that's going off of US Dollars then we'd be getting a better deal, Panic. They'd come out somewhere around £17.50.

I know what you mean but if they didn't bother to update Eldar Aspect Warriors then I really can't see them changing Incubi either.

The source is Father Gabe, and according to Dakkadakka his rumour accuracy rate is basically 100%.

So far when this guy says something is going to happen, it happens.

Which is not to say that the guy's word should be taken as gospel, but he's proven to be a reliable source.

I didn't think that DE would be this early (or that they'd get any attention soon), so the outcome is either going to surprise me or leave me as a hopeless cynic.

I'm right there with you. I was so full of salt when I first read the rumor that I was on the verge of hypertension. But, after seeing that this guy has never been wrong so far I'm daring to hope!

Also, I had just taken an initial glance at the original rumor before going to bed last night, I completely skipped over this line:

"Looked at update on next months releases.  Dark Eldar are likely coming.  Codex, limited edition codex, supplement, dataslates."

Hmm....i should probably buy 5 more incubi. Just in case they screw the models too much.

Good lord, I'm barely recovering and slowly painting up all the stuff that has piled up due to studies, and now the DE are rumoured to come out soon with plastic Incubi to boot? I guess I'll be poor and don't sleep next month!

@Panic I don't think incubi will be a combo kit, flash gits, Mega nobz and Mek guns were not combo kits. Orks are also probably the best army for plastic kits alongside Dark Eldar (so I see them following a similar pattern).

This rumour kind of makes sense. If the release starts in august then it will probably be a month before the codex drops (if they follow the same release style as Orks).

i hope this is true i cant w8 to add to my colection . i would ask peoples opinion at the posibility that they redo dark vengance as its been taken of the games work shop web site and put dark eldar in there and that is the reason they are makeing models like incubi plastic insted of finecast

Well we could adopt the methods of our Dark Eldar kin....raiding, slavery, drugs, "entertainment", and "sports"....all viable ways to make money in the 41st millennium why not the 2nd? :-P

I'm excited by this a lot, obviously and eagerly waiting to see how this all pans out for now; hoping for something a bit more concrete soon.

It doesn't sound like a huge release and I'd be hoping for more - would be interesting if we see an Ork style release whereby we're peppered with releases over several weeks.

I'm quitting if Duke is dropped by the way....
