I'm a panzy that's wanted to play SoB since I started playing but don't like the pricing.
So I was curious as to if there is a way I could convert them cheaply while still being allowed to play in tournaments. (I was thinking about buying the resin ones from not-failcast.)

Oh there are some REAL cool Kickstarter companies with Sisters of Battle knockoffs you could use. Frankly, unless its in a tourney, you wont get much heat and maybe not even then. People are angry and willing to allow quite a bity to spite GW even though I find such destructive impulses childish (says the guy playing with plastic dolls). Still, its easy to understand why people are loking for alternatives, cost wise.

Kurganova Shock Troops from Raging Heroes is a start from their "toughest Girls of the Galaxy" Kickstarter line.

Reaper Bones line has some female space minis called "Nova Corp". Also something called "IMEF" for which they have a sniper. hope it helps

Holy heck those ladies from Raging Heroes are amazing!

They look like they'd fit my theme to (Desert)

I'll probably use Svetlana as Jacobus. (I refuse to have men in my army.)
Probably use the Tarja, Shasenka and Arushka models as Priests.
Ludmilla Magdanova might get used as a Canoness (Even though she'd never get used except for fluff games)
Kurganova Troops as the actual troops.
Cruz Heavy Gunners for Heavy Bolters.
Kurganove Heavy Troops as Dominians and retributers if I ever use them
Jet Girls as Seraphim -duh-

Major Severina Madsen has to be something but can't decide what.

How's this sound? I can just use GW tanks for the tanks (Which I don't plan to use many of for fluff reasons. Just 3 Exorcists, and that's it.)

Can't decide what to use as Celestine Sad (I dislike the original model)

Opinion?

I am planning to build a Sisters army myself, and have been eyeing this as a possible alternate to Celestine;

The Harbinger of Menoth from Privateer Press' Warmachine line. It's basically a spot on stand in.

I really like her. Can't decide if I want to put wings on it or not. It's beautiful as it is.
