The Commorragh's latest son steps forward.

To my underlings I am known as the cursed painbringer, the ravager of souls, and a myriad of other such titles. To my equals those that haven't yet outlasted their usefulness, I am Archon Garacesh, Commander of the Kabal of the Shattered Sky.

Admittedly only a 40K amateur I decided it was time for a break after running a Hive Fleet for the past few years (though admittedly, not playing amazingly often). When I was younger my brother used to play 40K as Space Marines but he did have some Dark Eldar which I took a fondness to, so when I decided it was time for a new army the choice was obvious. Unfortunately a year or so ago I hit financial troubles and had to sell most of them. But now I've been back on my feet for some time I wanted to get back into the hobby.

I'm still sort of here-and-there about what direction I want to take my army, but right now I'm just in the process of painting it up. I currently have Warriors, Scourges, Wyches, Incubi, Reavers, a Chronos, a Raider, a Venom, an Archon, Lelith, 2 Haemonculi and a really shoddy Drazhar conversion (though a new one is in the works!) so I'm at the point that I could probably go in a fair few different directions.

I'll likely lurk more than post, but I figured it was at least polite to say hi!

Greetings to you from a newly 'appointed' Archon of the Kabal of Fallen Iron Thorn.

I am still sorting out my army and the fellow Great and Cruel Denizens here are enlightening me to certain rules and things that I am woefully lacking in full understanding.
My staple army has been the SOB's and they and I have been called that many times.. They are a mean bunch when not painting their nails or doing their Goth makeup.....
Going from the tactics and such needed for SOB's to the Dark Kin is a bit of a challenge but I am up to it..

Urgh, tell me about it. I haven't really played that much since 5th Ed so now after getting the new 3-set of books and reading through the rules I'm kind of like.. Uh. Lot's changed. Things like Power Weapons being reclassified to AP2 now (though I don't really get why.. Does anything really have a 1+ Armour?). I'm sure I'll get there in the end!
