| So one of the few people I play against runs a Dark Angel's army, and he pretty much always takes Deathwing Terminators, and deeps strikes them right away, lighting up any of my vehicles. I usually take some TGL's to help prevent the charge, but other than that is there any other way to help deny him the satisfaction of destroying my gunboats? | |

| Just read through it, seems like a good strategy, the issue is what to use, Ravagers come to mind for threatening and deadliness, but come at a cost. | |

Also be aware fo the change to Sudden Death Victory. That (strongly agree) and our traditional castling may be also helpful. | |

Well if you want a perfect world, I have no answers. But as the Lures go, for Dark Eldar, you have some options. the most obvious is of a Second Combined Arms Detachment using Eldar Heavy Batteries. Excellent choice for the job. A Second more pure choise is the Ravagers with Night Shields. A perhaps more dangerous choice is the humble Talos. 24" Haywire Blaster in each corner but because of the range you have to move up THEN retreat back to get the desired effect, but they are quite doughty and can pull it off in a pinch. It actually masks your intent better than the Ravager does but due to range has all the drawbacks you'd expect. Oddly, kabalite Warriors may actually be an intriguing choice for this because they can put two lances in the unit and a haemonculus can add the Hex Rifle, making it a fairly dangerous unit, and fairly hard to kill because its large and starts with FnP. Its a more unusual take o nthe problem but certainly would work. If you get them a transport and reserve it, then they will even have an escape hatch to use when the enemy draws closer.

| Hey if they have ground pounders, that would be perfect. | |

| One thing to do against a deepstrike army is to jink. If it's night fighting you get a 3+ save in the open against anything not flame templates. Then you can disembark your incubi and wyches and destroy the terminators. Or just boost away if he deepstriked his entire army in. Now he has to slog towards you while you light him up. | |
