Painting a Dark Artisan Formation Empty
PostSubject: Painting a Dark Artisan Formation   Painting a Dark Artisan Formation I_icon_minitimeThu Jan 22 2015, 07:42

I've been playing Venom Spam with Eldar allies for almost a year now and I have to admit that I've gotten a little bored of the army despite LOVING Dark Eldar, so I've decided to add a Dark Artisan formation to the list to change up the dynamics a little (I might change a few other things at a later time, but for now I'll start with the Dark Artisan).

I really like this formation not only for tactical and strategic reasons, but also because of how it captures my imagination! Twisted Evil I feel that amid all the impersonal Venoms (I've got 7) and Ravagers (there are 3), the only models that add any real character to my army are the Farseer on a jetbike and my Archon -- who spends all her time cooped up in her Venom.
Now however I'll have a Haemonculus roaming the battlefield with his children.  Twisted Evil

Here's a quick look at the first two models in the formation: getting started on the Talos, as well as the finished Haemonculus. I'll update you guys and gals on the formation with (a) later video(s) Smile
