new white dwarf

Has anyone been so lucky to have read through the DE chapter in the new WD?
And if so is it worth grabbing for just that article?

Do you have a link the image of the front page? I've only seen images of the Cover, and the Custodes 30k rules.

I've seen the scans in a youtube video. There are some pages about models, with descriptions and images and a section dedicated to the weapons.

Not sure if this article is linked to a further DE release or it is just a filler, but the fact that GW speaks of us makes me happy

Are the scans of GW painted stuff or a fan army?

If its GW then it is great news that they would be attracting attention to the faction.

If its a fan army then maybe not so much.

Either way, GW calling attention to the True Kin is good.

No, they're photos of the "official" models and weapons, not a fan army.

I got the new White Dwarf on Monday. There is a lot of Dark Eldar content. You won't learn anything new from the Commoragh article but it is very nice to see and still a good read. DE pop up throughout however, the article is 8 pages and they also feature in the Golden Demon section, Paint Splatter, Eavy Metal section and also at the back in the WD Guide.

I'm really enjoying the new White Dwarf format but as always it is to advertise their products, however more sales of DE would likely mean more investment in the future.

yeah, just got myself a copy. I have to say the DE chapter was a bit of a let down, there is a near 2 page drawing directly from the codex and then just a intro on the fall and whats going on in commorragh. Well it IS a guide to the city so not exactly false advertisement but ive yet to read through the rest of the magazine

I am very scared about this "media coverage"... DE are so low tier that our real strenght lies in the fact that nobody know how we play and how counter us.

There is however pict on page 64 I think, that shows Imperial frigate dragged to Commorragh and being pacified by raiders.
On the right side, it shows a couple of incoming silhouettes approaching, and it says: class unknown, appears to be starship proportions.

If that is new info, or just intro for DE for BFG, I don't know.

Yeah, it makes sense they'd wait several years after a game was shut down before introducing Dark Eldar to it.......

By BFG I meant video game. WD also advertises GW based video games, so it's a perhaps a subtle hint.

Although, as stated previously, it is a long shot guess and I like to be an optimist in regard DE since it is my first and main army.

I would enjoy playing DE in BFG armada (the PC game).

Otherwise what is the point of this bit of old fluff in the WD?
Is it just GW saying we haven't forgotten DE?
Even though we have neglected them since the covens dex.
