Um nothing special, just go from your darkest tone to lightest in several thin layers rather than 1 or 2, don't be afraid to mix your paints for a smoother transition. Also keep your paint as wet as you can because whiter skin tone paints have a tendency to be chalky.

After spending what feels like an eternity painting other peoples stuff I got around to painting a hammy for myself.

Wyches are old.. old, I think I painted them the month they first came out, I tried to update them a little but to be honest it's hard to care, so currently I feel they're a lot worse than the regular standard of the army.

I'm pretty dejected of painting DE generally right now, I might sell the whole lot off at some point and paint some Harlequins or wait for Necromunda to arrive.

Ya, I know what you're saying, the new Archons pose is quite poor generally, the stock head is an aquired taste and the cape looks a bit silly.
The old metal model was much better.

Just going to pipe up in defence of the Archon's skin-cloak. I really like it!

I'm with you on the silliness of the 'ready for mummification' pose though. That does what's a stunning base model a real disservice.
